The purpose of life is to live it - Life Purpose Quote
The purpose of life is...
Even though I could write many, many words about this quote, sometimes it is a good idea to keep silent...
  • Read the words
  • Ponder the words
  • Bring them into connection with your own life
  • See how you do
  • Adjust if you feel like it
That's about it :-)

More insights about living your life purpose on the telesummit Align With Your Purpose, hosted by Aline Boundy.

I'd love to meet you there on April 10th, when you can hear my voice... Before that you can listen to fabulous guests. I personally know Wendy Samuels, who will share all about her "Story Stones". Curious? Great! I'm curious about what she and others have to share as well.

Life Purpose Quote - Albert Camus

Inspirational Quotes - Life Purpose
Life Purpose Quotes
This life purpose quote by Albert Camus makes you stop and think, don't you agree?

It is so profound and yet we often forget this. Searching for something is by definition acknowledging that you have no clue...

If we keep searching for what happiness is, we are not in alignment with who and what we really are. Then it is time to sit down and reflect a bit. It may be that we ask ourselves the wrong question.

It may be a good idea to change the question then. Instead of asking: "What is happiness?" on an abstract level, we can change this into a more practical and down to earth approach. We could ask ourselves about the things that already work for us - and then expand on that. When we know what we are looking for, the chance that we find something is much bigger.

I compare it to traveling. If you set out for Paris, you will - most probably - get there. You may get off track for a while, but you can get back to the right direction, because you know where you go. You may need some help or information on the way, but you know what to ask for.

The second part of the quote is something to ponder as well. Yes, there is much to be said about this. Maybe we'll cover it on April 10th on the Telesummit Align With Your Purpose. I hope you'll join us then.

And listen to the other conversations as well. You will get so much out of the information and wisdom the speakers share!

A purpose driven life

A purpose driven life
Life Purpose - Ralph Waldo Emerson
A purpose driven life is a fulfilling life. A fulfilling life is a happy life. What more is there to say?

What is fulfilling is different for every person individually. And at the same time there are general components.

Emerson says: to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to make a difference.

That is all very valuable. And yet - if we forget our own uniqueness in the process, we will not feel happy.

So be useful - in alignment with your own strengths, be honorable and true to your own values, be compassionate and don't forget yourself, make a difference in areas that you choose to make a difference in.

Only if inside and outside are in balance, we will say we are living our purpose and our life is fulfilling and happy.

My life purpose

My life purpose
My life purpose
My life purpose - what is that? So many people ask themselves this question. Do you?

Dostojewski nailed it. It's not about just living and filling your days. It is about what you fill your days with. Satisfaction and fulfillment do not come from moments of joy or bliss. Those are great of course, but over time that does not do the trick.

But what is it then that does the trick? Many books have been filled with what is to be said about this topic.

To me there is no answer. No answer that goes for everyone. I think your purpose is defined by the moment. What is it in this moment that gives me the best possibility to express all that I am to the fullest?

In order to be able to make that choice we need to know yourself. And maybe that is the most profound endeavor we can all undertake: My life purpose is to know myself. To know my potential, my talents, my unique and most creative expression.

Aline Boundy interviews her guests in the Telesummit Align With Your Purpose about just that. I've heard some remarkable conversations in the past weeks. But the journey continues. There are still many interviews to come. You can find out more about this and see whether you can find the answer to the question: What is my life purpose

What is a Life Purpose?

Inpirational Quotes Life Purpose Gandhi
Life Purpose Quote - Mahatma Gandhi
Mahatma Gandhi is one of the greatest inspirators of the last century. Not only did he play an important role in the changes in India, he also shared his profound wisdom with the world.

His whole life was an example of what he spoke of. And because of this authenticity, we listen. When we listen with our hearts and souls - not only with our minds - we hear with the totality of our being.

When we can listen in that way, we can reflect with our own authenticity - and take that which resonates with us and implement it  in our own way of living.

Often without words, without big goals, without strategy. Just by listening, resonating, and responding to that with our actions.

What is your life purpose? Did you align with it? If you want to hear how others found it, join and listen to the speakers of this free telesummit.

Finding my Life Purpose

Inpirational Quotes Life Purpose Rilke
Finding my Life Purpose...
Finding my life purpose in defeat? That could be the first reaction to this quote by Rainer Maria Rilke.

After giving it some more thoughts, we may come to another response though...

After defeat often comes surrender. And in surrender and acceptance we carry another energy in our hearts and minds. An energy that may give us space to reflect and make new choices.

With those new choices we take new directions and with that we overcome this what at first sight looked like  defeat.

Until we meet with the next step to take in the unfoldment of our lives... Which most probably will be a "greater thing".

Poets have a way of looking at things that makes us take a second look. Like Rilke did here...

A worthy purpose

Inpirational Quotes Life Purpose Helen Keller
Helen Keller had such profound wisdom to share. This quote is one I particularly love.

How often do we seek for instant gratification? We go for the immediate feeling of well being instead of the long term feeling of overall happiness.

We take that glas of wine or that pizza, even though we are on the path to excellent health... Or we stay on the couch instead of going for a walk in the rain, rather staying dry than getting fitter with each walk.

I think that is often because of the fact that we have not incorporated (literally) our far away goal. We have not set our minds to the ultimate goal. Then it is easier to side track.

I often compare it to taking our car to travel somewhere. If we know that we are going to visit a special friend and will have a great time there, we will be able to rise early, jump out of bed and enjoy the travelling. Because we know what awaits us, we can go to great length.

On the other hand, if we have a long working day ahead of us and we are going to an appointment or meeting that we do not really like, well, you get the picture: we have more problems rising in the morning, we don't like the traffic and each kilometre more seems long...

So, let's make our goal a worthy goal! More about Aligning With Your Purpose on the telesummit that Aline Boundy hosts.

Discover your life purpose

Inpirational Quotes Life Purpose
Life Purpose - Inspirational Quote
Do you agree that this very inspirational quote by Herman Hesse is so important to keep in mind when we walk our path through life?

How many children have followed in the footsteps of their parents just because of the fact that they were born into that family?

How often do we look up to other people and try to imitate them? Look at how trends come to bloom, how new hobbies come and go, what books or films are a hype. And think about how much in this you yourself really, really like...

It is important that we see and honor others for who they are, yet it may be of even more importance to see and honor ourselves for who we are...

The Purpose of Life

Inpirational Quotes Life Purpose
What is the purpose of life? How often have you asked yourself that question?

If you have contemplated this more than once, you're not alone. Many people are searching for direction. Often it is hard to hear your own authentic voice through the noise that our society makes.

When we get really quiet, we will be able to hear the small voice within that speaks of our passions, our talents and our gifts that we have brought with us into this world.

Expressing my authentic self and enjoying the gifts that others show me, is what makes my days beautiful.

And enjoying every day, embracing all experiences, seeking for the essence of the creation - expressing, bringing into the world all that is me - I see that as my purpose. From day to day, from second to second, from thought to thought.

And when we start expressing the essence of ourself and appreciating the expressing of the essence that others show us, we come close to what Albert Schweitzer shares. Don't you think?

If you want to know what others have to share about this topic, you can listen to the conversations that Aline Boundy has with the guests of her free online telesummit "Align With Your Purpose".
